The Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine is pleased to announce that Dr. Chet Evans, vice president for medical affairs and dean, has been appointed to a two year term as the chair-elect of the Florida Governors Diabetes Advisory Council. Dr. Evans has served as a member of the Diabetes Advisory Council for the past eight years. In addition, Dr. Evans serves on the editorial board of the journal Diabetes Care, published by the American Diabetes Association.
